SPECIALIST STRIPS TO MEASURE THE PH OF URINE AND RUMEN CONTENT.
Urine pH correlates with DCAD (Dietary Cation-Anion Difference in the feed). High DCAD in the period of calving disturbs mobilization of calcium and leads to hypocalcaemia. Correct pH of the urine before calving is around 7.
Measurement of pH of the rumen contents enables to evaluate health status of the cow in terms of acidosis and alkalosis risk. Correct pH of the rumen is between 5,5 – 6,5. Packaging: 100 strips.
